Rain water the purest water?
This is the small rain water harvesting system I made for my balcony, and considering how small it is it actually collects a lot of rain water.
As you might be able to see I have a a coffee filter with some activated carbon to filter out the majority of the stuff we don't want in our water then after that I distil the water to get rid of any remaining stuff we don't want and there you go the purest drinking water most of us can get.
I wouldn't do this with tap water as tap water has much more bad stuff in it plus all the chemicals [fluoride etc] I would put tap water through a much larger filtration system.
Tip. Make sure to test the alkalinity of your rain water where I am the rain water is very alkaline however if you live somewhere with acid rain you want to test the water, if it is acidic just add some PH drops to the water but wherever you are just test it just to see as you dont want to drink water that is acidic.
Thank for reading
